How we can help

What you can expect

WDS assists with property transfers and sale agreements. Tell us whether you are buying or selling, and share the property details and any signed agreement so we can discuss the instruction.

A transfer and a new mortgage bond are separate legal tasks. Where a home loan is involved, the transfer and bond attorneys coordinate their documents for registration. Your sale agreement also needs to be checked for conditions, payment dates and occupation arrangements.

Getting started

Your next steps

  1. Send the sale agreement and property details for review.

  2. Confirm the instruction, costs and documents needed for your transaction.

  3. Complete the requested paperwork and stay in contact about outstanding requirements.

Before we speak

Have these ready

  • Sale agreement, if signed
  • Property address and title details, if available
  • Buyer and seller contact details
  • Home loan or existing bond information

Your team will confirm the documents and instructions for your matter. Contact your secretary to confirm the approved submission method.

A little clarity

Common questions

Who handles the transfer and the bond?

The transferring attorney is usually appointed by the seller. The lender appoints the bond attorney. They coordinate the transaction when a purchase and home loan are linked.

Can the calculator give me a final quote?
