Our services

Bond Registration

The legal registration of a mortgage bond over your property.

How we can help

What you can expect

WDS assists with mortgage and notarial bonds. For a home loan, the bank appoints an attorney authorised to act on its panel. Ask your bank whether WDS can be appointed for your loan.

The mortgage bond gives the lender security over the property. After the bank issues its instruction, the appointed attorney prepares the documents for signing and lodgement at the Deeds Office. Confirm the amount to be registered and request an itemised quote before budgeting.

Your next steps

A little clarity

Common questions

Can I ask for WDS to register my bond?

The bank appoints an authorised panel attorney. Ask your bank whether WDS can be appointed for your particular loan.

Is the bond amount the same as the purchase price?

Do not assume the purchase price, loan balance and registered bond amount are identical. Confirm the amount to be registered with your bank and request an itemised quote.
